How to choose a proper colloid mill

Colloid mill has a wide range of applications. Many customers do not know how to choose when they first contact this product. Here, SIEGMA will teach you how to choose a colloid mill.

1. The circulating tube type should be used for crushing thin materials, which can automatically and repeatedly process the materials and facilitate the connection between the upper and lower processes.

2. The straight outlet type with scraper should be used for crushing viscous materials.

3. High-hard teeth should be used for crushing hard materials. The high-hard tooth colloid mill adopts a special process method, and the grinding tooth hardness can reach HV1300～1800.

4. The pulverization of common architectural coatings and foundry coatings can be done with a paint mill. The grinding seat of the paint mill is made of carbon steel, and the price is low.

5. Sanitary high-flow colloid mill should be used to process thin food materials such as fruit tea and beverages.

6. For dry grinding, a larger colloid mill with water cooling should be selected. The bigger the machine, the better the grinding effect.

7. Generally used for testing: laboratory colloid mill, without water cooling, should not work for a long time.
