The production process of printing ink mainly includes the following steps:
Preparation: Process and prepare the main raw materials required for producing ink, mainly including the preparation of pigments, binders, and fillers. Pigments require processing, and binders need to be refined to meet the requirements for manufacturing ink.
Batching: Place pigments, binders, and auxiliaries into a dedicated container according to the ink formula. Batching is a critical factor that determines the various properties of the ink and directly affects the quality and printability of the ink.
Mixing: Use mechanical action to mix solid pigment powder with the binder, promoting the binder to enter the gaps between the pigments, wetting the pigments, and removing the surrounding air and moisture to achieve the purpose of coarse dispersion.
Rolling and grinding: Further disperse the pigments in the binder to meet printing requirements. Different types of ink require different levels of grinding based on their specific uses. Commonly used equipment includes three-roll mills, ball mills, and sand mills.
Inspection: After the ink is rolled and ground, check whether its color and fineness meet the design requirements.
Packaging: Fill the qualified ink into drums, taking care to avoid gaps and bubbles to reduce losses due to oxidation and skinning.
Throughout the entire production process, it is necessary to strictly control quality, environmental protection, and other indicators to ensure product safety, stability, and quality reliability
