Colloid Mill

Introduction:

CLM series colloid mill consists of three types: horizontal, vertical and split type. Colloid mills are especially good at grinding semi-fluid materials with large particles.When the material passes through the gap between fixed and rotary teeth (the size of the gap is adjustable), it is subjected to strong shear, friction, high-frequency vibration and other physical effects, so that the material is effectively emulsified, dispersed, homogenized and crushed.

Working Principle:

The grinding parts of colloid mill are composed of a group of high precision toothed grinding discs and static grinding discs which are matched with each other,and it is also called rotor and stator.

 When the equipment is running, the stator does not move, but the rotor is driven by a motor and runs at high speed. It means that the rotor and stator keep relatively high speed movement, which produce strong shear force and grinding effect, so as to make the semi-fluid and fluid materials quickly achieve dissolution, dispersion, homogenization, emulsification, suspension and other excellent mixing effects.
